Russia dismissed Ukraine's claim that it damaged a modern navy logistics vessel in the Black Sea. It showed photos of the vessel and said it was unaffected.

According to military authorities from the southern Odesa region, on Thursday, Ukrainian naval forces struck the Vsevolod Robertrov setting it ablaze.

The Russian defense ministry posted photos online that it claimed were taken Saturday at the Crimean Black Sea port Sevastopol.

It stated: "It is now evident from the photographs, that the ship has not been damaged at all."

The Russian Black Sea Fleet's flagship, the missile cruiser Moskva was set on fire by a nearby fire last month. The Ukrainian claimed that it struck the ship with a missile from the coast, while Moscow claimed an ammunition explosion.
